Turning Interest into Action
Here at The Kindness Closet, we see the value in knowing each child in every school has what they need to succeed in education. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in volunteer work at the local schools in 2019, we’ve been driven by the knowledge that when a child is fed, warm, and safe, they can open their minds in class and begin to see a world full of opportunities!
Dealing with the challenges of today's world requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives, and, people who are driven to do the actual work. The Kindness Closet emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.

At The Kindness Closet, we take pride in knowing that with our own hands, we can provide children with an opportunity for growth and learning and provide educators with an additional resource. We believe that with some elbow grease and a loving heart, there is nothing we can’t accomplish. But above all, our strength lies in teamwork. Each and every one of us has the capability to contribute no matter our experience, background, or financial status. Just imagine what we can achieve together.
